Second Amendment and Fighting Crime

Kevin has a long history of being a strong advocate for the Second Amendment and for law enforcement. In the Legislature, Kevin was the author of the “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law.

In 2006, the Oklahoma Rifle Association, the National Rifle Association’s state affiliate, named Kevin “Legislator of the Year” and has endorsed Kevin in this race for Congress.

Kevin’s expertise in the area of self-defense was recognized recently when he was interviewed on CNN regarding the now-famous attempted robbery at the pharmacy in Oklahoma City.
